As a Vice President of Patrick Communications, John Cunney is both a media broker and leader of the firm’s telecom and tower brokerage business. During his ten year career, John has closed over $19 billion worth of transactions, including telecom and spectrum brokerage, station brokerage, corporate mergers & acquisitions, public and private equity and debt financings and leveraged buyouts. In addition to his previous experience as a Telecom and Media investment banker at JPMorgan and Media Venture Partners, John spent two years as a publishing member of JPMorgan’s #1 Institutional Investor ranked Wireless Services equity research team. John received a B.A. in Economics from Tufts University and a M.B.A. from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business, where he was designated a Stern Scholar and was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honors Society.
